“For the believer there is hope beyond the grave, because Jesus Christ has opened the door to heaven for us by His death and resurrection.” -Billy Graham

1 John 5:13-14

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

1 Peter 1:3-6

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

John 4:13-14

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again, The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

For the Christian, the Cross tells us that God understands our suffering, for He took upon Himself at the Cross all of our sins and all of our failures and all of our sufferings. Our Lord, on that cross, asked the question, “Why?” “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?”  And he received his answer, he knew.  To redeem the world, to save you and me from our sins, to give us assurance that if we died we’re going to heaven. He was saying from the cross, I love you and I know the heartaches and the sorrows and the pain that you feel.

For the girl who’s dating Trouble:

We allow him to steal the kisses we did not want to give. We allow his hands to wander where we had not intended to go. We allow our hearts to be taken advantage of, we allow his words to cut us and pretend it don’t matter, in hope that our submission will mean that he’ll love us and want us more.

The world will say, “You deserve better.”

But what if you don’t believe you deserve better? Maybe you’re in this rut precisely because you think this is the best you’re ever going to get.

You’re so entangled in your mess that you’re ready to settle for any fragment of love and acceptance that anyone will give—even when you know he’s bad for you.

I just want you to know today, that even if you think you deserve nothing—no, worse than nothing—if you think all you deserve is not even love but just pity, there is Someone who loves you, who doesn’t care one bit what you deserve.

Because He already knows what you deserve. You do not deserve to be loved. You do not deserve to have someone who cares for you. You do not deserve any better.

But He’s not here to passively-aggressively tell you why you’re already so lucky you even have him.

He’s not here to tell you that you already gave your value away when you gave your body away.

He’s here to tell you:

“I know everything about you.
Every moment of regret
as you lay there knowing
this was not the romance you had dreamed of.
Every tear you cried to yourself
after you had given all of you away
but still felt so empty inside.
Every time you said,
‘Heck it, I’ve already given him so much,
what does it matter how much more I let him have’.
I know it all.
And I’m still here to love you.

I love you, not because you deserve it,
But because I AM Love.
For every mistake you’ve made that you believe
disqualifies you from believing your life has value,
I have paid for everything when I hung on that cross.
I saw you, and I already died for what you deserve.”

So don’t ask anymore, what you deserve.
Because the One who created you says you are worth more than to settle for the loose affections of a man who won’t treat you right.

You are loved beyond compare, valued beyond all the gold of this world, and you don’t have to settle for what you THINK you deserve. Because what you REALLY ARE and HAVE, is value placed on you by your Maker that no one can rob, no one can steal and no mistake can define.

Girl, don’t accept the love you think you deserve. Boldly demand the love that matches the value He has already given you.

God's Word

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll."

The Holy Trinity

The Bible is clear that God is three-in-one: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (seeMatthew 28:18-20).
